About us

A return to truth, presence, and inner alignment

Our story

Aveloa began at a kitchen table in Bristol, where Maya and Elena started meeting to talk about work, friendship, and the feeling of always being in a hurry. Those conversations gradually became a shared idea for a different kind of space.

Maya brought an interest in listening and the questions people rarely find time to ask. Elena was drawn to the way movement and breathing could make a pause feel tangible. Together, they imagined sessions where people could arrive as they were, with time to reflect and company along the way.

Today, Aveloa brings that spirit to individual sessions, small circles, and retreats. We make room for you to listen, explore, and choose your next step.

Our Philosophy

We believe a meaningful life takes attention. It asks us to notice the choices we repeat, the expectations we carry, and the moments when our own needs disappear beneath everything else that needs doing.

Our invitation is to pause long enough to hear what is happening inside you. A feeling may need words. A question may need time. Sometimes simply being heard creates enough room to look at something with fresh eyes.

You can begin wherever you find yourself. The practice is to meet that place with curiosity, and discover what a little more honesty and care might make possible.

The pace around us can be difficult to step away from.

Messages arrive, plans change, and there is always another task waiting. It is easy to reach the evening without having noticed how the day felt.

Achievement can bring satisfaction, yet the space to enjoy it often needs to be made deliberately. Rest, friendship, and an ordinary unhurried afternoon have their own place in a full life.

We value the wish to build something, learn, and contribute. We also know how easily effort becomes a measure of personal worth. Our work invites you to explore that relationship, to recognise your limits, and to make choices that leave room for the person doing all that striving.

What would change if your next decision began with what matters to you?

That question can soften a conversation, clarify a commitment, or give you permission to take a break.

Over time, small acts of attention can become familiar. You notice when you are rushing, ask for what you need, and find more moments when your life feels like your own.

Through breathing practices, reflection, conversation, and movement, we offer ways to explore that attention. Each session is an opportunity to learn something about yourself and consider how you might carry it into your relationships, your work, and your everyday routines.
